Let’s cut to the chase…It’s time to embrace the soft life—a life that doesn’t demand you wear your cape every day, especially not to rescue yourself. This summer, we’re redefining “hot girl” energy. It's not just about outfits and outside—it’s about peace, pleasure, and protecting your energy.

So yes, let them go. I know, I know—“the sex is so good!” But we’re not sacrificing our sanity for six minutes of dopamine. Those days? They’re over. Gone with the wind fabulous. At some point, you’ve got to put yourself first—Luscious! (Yes, that was an Empire reference. LOL.)

Let’s be real: Good sex shouldn’t be the leash that keeps you tethered to someone who drains you. There are people waiting to pour into you—yes, even if only for a moment—but let them meet the version of you that knows their worth.

So stand up. Walk away. Reclaim your magic. Summertime is about ease, joy, dope connections, and freedom. Why waste a whole season tangled in a toxic situationship? Good D is not worth bad days. Amazing sex is overrated when the cost is your peace of mind.

It’s time to become a stranger to lonely nights. No, that doesn’t mean fill your bed with anyone and everyone (but hey, if that’s your thing—safe sex, always). It means finding pleasure within yourself. Light a candle. Explore your body. Rediscover what makes you feel good. Don’t just resist the urge to call them—replace it.

Try a new hobby. Take that pottery class. Learn how to roll sushi. Start a journal, learn a new language, volunteer, plant a garden, take pole dancing lessons—whatever makes you feel alive and connected to you. Busy hands make it harder to text that one person you know you shouldn’t.

I know it might sound like I’m asking a lot—but I’m not. When we don’t set standards for ourselves, we end up settling everywhere else—especially in love. Fill your own cup first.

Satisfy your own cravings. Then, and only then, let the rest unfold.

This summer, you’re the main character. So act like it.
