Verity Book Review | Colleen Hoover Thriller and Psychological Suspense

The story begins when Verity is involved in a terrible car accident, leaving her unable to finish her bestselling series. Her husband, Jeremy, convinces the publisher to hire Lo, another author, to complete the series.

Lo moves into Verity’s home for what she thinks will be a few days to learn the series, but her stay extends to weeks. While in Verity’s office, Lo discovers a shocking manuscript detailing Verity’s intimate life with her husband and children. Lo is both disgusted and intrigued, and the tension escalates as she starts developing feelings for Jeremy while he wrestles with his own desires.

Jeremy's wife is paralyzed, his twins are dead. He's the only one caring for his baby son. Now he has the pressure of finishing his wife's series while a beautiful woman is living in his home.

The book becomes a psychological game of manipulation—both Lo and Jeremy think they have the upper hand, but Verity has secrets that completely flip the story.

As a reader, you have to decide which do you believe: Verity or the manuscript! Choose wisely!

The twists and turns make it impossible to predict who is controlling whom, but someone is 100% in control––keeping readers hooked until the final page.

Colleen Hover has mixed reviews regarding her thrillers but Verity was good AF! The rollercoaster is never ending!

I have not watched the movie as of yet, but I heard It was a horrible adaptation.
